Wichita Tree Cost Calculator
Want a ballpark before anyone comes out? Put in your trees and get a rough range.
No email, no phone number, nothing to fill out first. The range shows as soon as you enter your numbers.

How to use it
- Service. Pick tree removal, tree trimming, or stump grinding only.
- Trees by size. Enter how many trees in each size: small (under 30 ft), medium (30 to 60 ft) or large (over 60 ft). A two-story house is usually about 20 to 25 ft, more with a steep roof. You can enter up to 10 of each.
- Access. Tree removal only. Open yard, easy access, or tight access, near a house, fence or power lines. Tight access raises the range.
- Crane. Tree removal only. Check this if a crane may be needed: a very tall tree, or one over a building. It shows when you enter a large tree for removal.
- Haul-away and cleanup. Removal only. Include haul-away, or choose "I will clear the wood and brush myself."
- Stumps by diameter. Enter how many stumps in each size: up to 12 in, 13 to 24 in, 25 to 36 in or 37 to 48 in. Measure straight across the widest part of the stump, at ground level. If it flares at the base, measure the base.
You get a range for the trees, the stumps and any add-ons, then a total range. Every result is marked Estimate, not a quote.
Enter at least one tree or stump.
What moves the price
- Height. Small, medium and large trees are priced in separate bands.
- Access. For removal, a tree near a house, a fence or power lines takes more care and time. The calculator does not adjust trimming for access.
- A crane. Very tall trees, or trees over a building, can need one.
- Cleanup and haul-away. Hauling off the wood and brush is usually part of the job, but confirm what is covered. Clearing it yourself can lower the range.
- Stump diameter. Wider stumps cost more to grind. Hauling off the grindings and adding topsoil can cost extra.
- Rocky soil, roots, a stump near a structure. These make a stump harder to grind.
- Storm work. Not priced here. See emergency and storm damage for what changes that cost.
